Hi. Im getting my pc back today with a new motherboard and psu. I was wondering as its a new mother board should I format my pc so it gets fresh drivers from start. So no drivers are on from old motherboard or will it be ok?. Thanks.

If it's the same vendor (Intel board to Intel board) then my experience has always been that it will work fine, Windows 7 and above will detect it and install new drivers as needed. Just uninstall the previous chipset drivers from add/remove beforehand as well as GFX and sound drivers, then install the latest version once on the new machine.

I've had 4 motherboard upgrades this way over the years.

Systems wil vary of course, if you get issues then do a clean install.

should be fine, I changed my mobo, ram and cpu from AMD to Intel once and didn't need a re install just found drivers and was fine

I have just done this going from z77 to z97 DC, Win 8.1 took a few mins to reconfigure then I just installed the latest driver from the Gigabyte website for the ones Windows did not have any for or could not find due to not being connected to the net yet.
