Format Windows Vista ?

Hi All ,this might sound a stupid thing to say ,but how do u format Windows Vista 32x ? :confused:

Need to expand on your question more. Do you want to just wipe the disk, or install another OS?

You can not format an Operating system, only a storage medium. You can format your drive from the DVD, you need to boot from the dvd and select install and format.

Hi there I want to wipe the disc and start again with a new install .

chuck in your vista dvd

reboot, go into bios (or select boot options -some allow this without going into bios)

-set primary/1st boot device as cd/dvdrom and 2nd as your current first (sata or ide or hdd) then you'll get a 'press any key to boot from dvd' before windows starts

use the disc to delete all information currently on the drive and click next..
(all data on the drive will be lost)
