formating additional HD

how do i go about formating an additional harddrive? i cant get into dos cause i havnt got a floppy drive. ive looked about for a bootable startup to put on cd but cant find anything

If its a slave drive, right click on my computer -> Computer Management and Intialise the drive from in windows.
