Either a DOS boot disk works wonders in such situations, or if you don't have a floppy disc/drive then USB pen drive will boot on most modern motherboards. Failing that shove it in another PC an format as described above.
Cheers guys, basically all I need to do is remove the operating system for someone as he isnt licenseed to have it, just the HDD ready to be installed with an OS.
