I want to format the drive on the laptop I'm using right now.

Its a work laptop and we've parted company on reasonably poor terms and I don't want them having access to any contacts, emails or any of the project work I've carried out.

Apart from anything it'd be useless to them anyway as it was imaged to give access to a clients network so they'll have to wipe it anyway, I just don't want them having a good old nose beforehand.

Obviously this has the OS etc on also, can I format it in DOS? Am I likely to come up again any security that may have been installed to stop me doing this?

If it is do-able in DOS can someone give me straightforward insruction of how to do it?

Cheers!
