Formatting Hard Drive is sufficient?

Hi all,
Been given a PC by a friend - they can't use it so they gave it to me. They had it hacked and a lot of money stolen through something.

I've formatted the hard drive and stuck Windows 7 back on. Is this sufficient or do I need a more in-depth clean?

Everything works how it should.

that should be fine, did you do a format through the windows 7 install?

Yes. No option for quick format or full format though.

As long as you deleted all the partitions from the drive, you'll be fine.
