Hey all

Running two harddrives, one with XP and the other with Vista. Anyways, I ran Vista RC 2 for a while and now that I've seen it I want to format the drive on which it was installed (that's the only thing that's on that drive, ie. the VIsta install). So when in XP, I use disk manager to try and format the Vista drive but it says the drive is in use. Weird.

Anyways, does someone else know a good way of formatting that hard drive? Thanks in advance.

Hi
What you need to do is boot into the windows xp hdd then click my computer then you should see all your drives right click on the drive with vista on it then click format.

Vista will now be gone but you may be left with the boot screen if so you need to go into windows xp agian then type something in the run prompt can t remember what tho sry i will post agian if i find out

Hope this helps
