Formatting without a Windows 7 CD or CD Drive

Hi,
I am in the process of selling a computer, and it doesn't have a CD drive.
I would like to format a HDD.

You would like to format a HDD with windows installed on it? Or just a regular HDD?

Download a free format utility and put it on a USB memory stick.

Better way is to take drive off the PC, plug it into another computer and use "Eraser"-like software to wipe drive out. Otherwise buyer can easily see what you had had on drive before you formatted it.
