Formatting

When formatting do you need to manually set the bios like how fsat cpu is etc. or does it do it all auto and im really scared about my cd key. I dont know if my xp is oem or retail. I have like 4 xp keys but i dont know if they will work either. The sticker on the back is new , but the disk i have is 2002 sp1. If the cd key is oem and my disk is oem will that work, and if the sticker is sp2 and disk is sp1 will that work?

tell them the key you have
they can tell if it's OEM or retail




there is no need to set the CPU speed in BIOS when formatting
