Can someone please tell me where in XP you format your HDD?

You can't format the system drive within the operating system it's running from.

You'll need to format it when reinstalling, or if you're disposing of a hard drive and want it securely wiped, something like Darik's Boot And Nuke.

If you are formatting just a second HDD you can do it in Disk Management dude

Where do i find that stelly?

Open Start menu > right click computer > Click Manage.

Disk management should be one of the headings on the left.
