Formula 1 on your phone

The official F1 iPhone app is here - http://www.softpauer.com/f1app/ and costs £20 for the 2010 season.

The picture of Vettel using it at the British GP makes me laugh, I went to the Friday and Saturday with people on 3 different networks (O2, Voda and Orange) and none of us could get a reliable data connection to even load web pages for laptimes so I dread to think what it would be like on the Sunday.

It's a shame really, because that's about the only time I'd want to use the app - at the track. Any other time I'll be watching on the box anyway.

I just found VodaFone Mclaren android app on the market

Daily team news, Formula 1 news, race info, McLaren official Tweets, live commentary, live telemetry and video. Awesome program.

Anyone know of anything available for Nokias?

I've found this but it gives no screenshots, and doesn't say it supports the N96.
The official F1 app is available here for free - I have it installed on my Nokia X6. It's seems to have all the features the iPhone app has, except the dynamic track map. It doesn't have the ridiculous price tag of £20 either.

I also notice you can get another official app for the iPhone here but for free. So there's 2 'Official' apps for the iPhone then?

That works on the Android as well ;) You just got to install java to your Android phone.
