Formula Fusion is an AG racing game in the same ilk as the Wipeout games. You are thrust into a futuristic future where racing vehicles is now done on tracks inter-woven between the environment. It will be a high-octane paced game with each category of vehicles will be faster than the previous. With each category there will be leagues to compete in. I'll add more info as there is more information on the game. I'm pretty excited for this and there is a stretch goal for the console version if anyone is interested in that. I'd imagine most people here would want to have the PC version with VR though. :)

Game is available on early release on steam, couldn't resist it, even at £22.99.

Just wish i had my R9 290 up and running and not my 7950. only one track, new york and i cant seem to use any weapons but after a few runs of the track, it feels like Wipeout.

Basic gfx options, low medium, high or epic and you can type in the resolution you want.

Will get my HG10 cooled R9 290 re-installed tomorrow and give it a decent run on the highest settings at 2560x1440 and epic setting.

This has just had a great update as of tonight.

Finally feels like Wipeout, even on a keyboard. Not sure what number build version this is but suffice to say its the best one to date.

Multiplayer is finally available too.

Finally feel happy with paying the £23 when i did even if its on Early Access for £15 atm.

How i went from a R9 290 to SLI GTX 980's in just over a year i have no idea :D

Cant believe its been a year since i bought EA for it !!

I have Wipeout 2097, and I love that, am I gonna love this?

Its getting there, taken a while to get where it is though. Quite a few members of the original team on this, that's why i didn't hesitate in getting EA when i found out about a possible Wipeout on PC.

Huge Wipeout fan myself and one or two of the builds were dodgy, the handling is key and they are very close to nailing the handling down now, save a few niggles.

All the bells and whistles looks wise are getting there but it would mean very little if the game handled like a dogs dinner.

But of course it is still in the Alpha phase, albeit very late stage alpha.

Its the most fun i have had with this game for over 6 months. I hadn't given up hope but there had been little progress made with the minor updates previous to this one.

I am genuinely surprised how good this update is.

Gonna be a while until i can stick this on my 55" 4K tv yet and have it running at 60fps :)

Been following this game for a year and it really is starting to take shape.

That was my question as well..

I'm a bit apprehensive with early access games at times. Ever since GODUS and getting fairly stung with that, never really been keen to pay up front for games ever since.

But this does seem to show promise, so I'll keep an eye on it, as many games that are early access do end up being very good and completed games..

Well tempted to push the button on this last night. Got reading up in the steam forum, about the VR accidently triggering. While it was exactly working right, id have loved to have seen it, playing 'the cell' made me want wipeout vr so bad.

Sadly they said they were patching it out asap. Flip side, they want to go with vr when they have the funds.

What are people making of Fusion, after its official launch release the other day?

I like how wide the tracks are compared to Redout, but I find the steering quite sensitive (easy to oversteer and hit barriers) and the amount of chase cam float feels a little weird.

Only did ~10mins of Time Trial last night, so it might grow on me more.

I like it so far, only really played the 1st league, but its had some huge improvements since EA, still not sure about all these upgrades tho.
