Looking at getting an 8800GT, but my thoughts have made me ask which cards are round the corner that may replace it or compete in the £150 ish market?
Basically to decide to buy now or not. lol
Am I right that Nvidia's new cards are delayed?

id go for the 8800gt m8,great card and if something does pop up in the following months you'll get the majority of your cash back of ebay:)and unless im mistaken the first of the 9*** cards isnt in the same league as the 8800gt.

9600 GT is due 21st Feb, but will be slower than the GT, the 9800's are due sometime in March, bit later (supposedly gona appear at CeBit, so will probably be available to buy shortly after that).

An 8800GT would be a good idea then in few months time go for ATI/Nvidia next gen, worth skipping 9800/3870X2 series imo, there clearly cards that will be on the shelves for a few months before being replaced with even further next gen cards.

Just get an 8800GT for the next 8 weeks then see whats out then.

I have a feeling that the X2 will not be top for long.

NV reaaly need to have a faster card than the GTX and ultra

Its been over a year now and I'm quite bored.
