Fortix 2 is best described as a reverse turret defense game. As Sir Fortix, the knight, you must conquer castles while dodging tower turrets and evil monsters.

Fight your way across the shires of the island Artalom, storming from castle to castle. Use cunning strategy to succeed against the maze-like levels and defeat the evil mage Xitrof.

You are the lone Knight who must fight against the entire infested continent!

Really enjoyed the first one, and this one is more polished, different visual style, great soundtrack and the same awesome gameplay and very addictive.

They have promised a DLC path as well which the first game sorely missed.

I own the first one, great little game

Will be getting this for sure
 
It's one of those old style games where there's a big rectangle grid, and you have to 'cut' across it to close of certain sections

Basically a modern take on this..

 
Reverse tower defense, my arse! However, Fortix was an amusing little distraction. What's new for the sequel?
 
I remember playing that at the arcades int he 80's! Well, not THAT but a similar-gameplay mechanicks game, where you were striving to cut off rectangles to reveal the underlying picture of a scantily clad woman....When you beat the level- another one with another picture. You get the ...ahem, picture....

Pre-internet days......
