Forum brightness decreasing down the screen

Just today I've noticed that the brightness of the text decreases gradually as I go down the screen. I'm using Dark Mode. It's independent of monitor, but much more noticeable on my portrait-mode monitor. Maybe it's an optical illusion caused by the 'Happy New Year' sign but it's not just the very bottom of the screen.

Yeah mine too. Part of the dark skies movement by the looks of it.

Was about to say mine is fine but the first thing I did was disable the happy new year theme as soon as I loaded the page and saw it

Thanks. It doesn't look so bad on a landscape mode monitor - perhaps there's less loss - but it's very noticeable in portrait mode.
