How can I quote someones post without including the image included in their post now.

That is what I thought except it does not show up.

This is the post that I quoted and the image itself appears rather than the and I have tried the suggestions but it remains. No doubt I am missing something.

Quote them, highlight the image in the quote and hit delete? Does that not work?

yeah either remove the IMG tags and the link between them or you could throw spoiler tags around the IMG tags so it doesn't show by default but is still there to reference at a glance

This is what I see.

No image tags.

Clicking image brings up the tag.

Deleting the tag does zilch as it obviously does not delete it from the post.

Image remains.

Don't click on the image, highlight it with left mouse and delete once it's selected.

Which is what I did but i see no option to delete. Surely it cannot be this difficult now?

Or if you struggle to highlight (phone for example) click on image, click cancel, image is now selected so just push delete / backspace. Done

Why are you using the right click menu, just push the delete key on your keyboard. (Or just click cut instead)

figured pressing delete was the obvious thing to do
