Forum problem

Hi all, i didn't really know where to post this so I decdied to post it here seeing as I only ever really go on the photography section. Well here is my problem:

I can't see any pictures that other people have posted and I can't see any one elses sig :mad:

It would be great if any one else could help

ANOTHER EDIT: I can only not see embedded pictures....

Try going to User CP - Edit Options and check the boxes to view signatures and images

I just checked and they are ticked, but it still happens

My money is on your AV, although it could be firewall related.

Do you use Symantec by any chance?

Try disabling your firewall.

I wouldn't totally disable the firewall, just turning off the privacy control should do it if that's the cause.

If you're on firefox, i'd try going to options - > content -> load images.

Make sure that it is ticked for "load images", but not ticked for "originating website only"

Someone post some images to show him what boxes etc need ticking to remove the problem....

Also if you use Firefox and have the Adblock extension installed (or any other image/ad blocker), you may have acidentally set it to block images from here.

Try exporting your adblock settings then delete all in your list, exit & reload Firefox then load these pages & press CTRl+F5 to clear the cache. If that was the problem, these pages should then load ok, if not, it's obviously something else causing it.

EDIT: Obviously this only affects images using the ocuk domain, so it won't affect other images that are hosted elsewhere.

To add to this, make sure this site is not in your exceptions list.

Well it's all working again now, just seemed to fix itself, thanks for all the help
