Forums, passwords and time outs

When I revisit a forum after a couple of months non-use, I have to re-enter my username/password. Is this a setting on Firefox that causes this or is it just the cookie duration the forum uses?

I hate all the loggin in and out.

If you have the username and password saved it should automatically populate the form fields. You won't be still logged in though. Most scripts have about 30 day cookies.

Mine stays logged in, try clearing your cookies and try again. That usually works!

The sites can't be that important if you don't visit them that often. Pay more attention to them and the cookies might love you in return.

The cookie expires after a year, so I guess it depends on just how many months you were away.
