Forwarding emails from hotmail to paid email - automatically

Hi there,

I have been digging around the mumble jumbo behind hotmail and i would like to one day set up my own email address.

What id like to do is forward ALL my hotmail emails to this new paid for email address. Is this possible?

So far all i can find is to forward all hotmail emails to another "Windows live" email account.

You can import them with Gmail.

You have to have a "paid for" hotmail account to forward out of hotmail. Gmail let you forward to other accounts free.

Could u outline the steps please?

Click on Settings, then the Accounts tab. The option to add a mail account is in there.

You can import all your e-mail accounts into Gmail, with the added benefit of an excellent spam filter.

didnt know they wont let you forward your mail..

Apparently there is a work around if you setup Windows Live Mobile, can't remember the finer details - but it should be on Google somewhere
