Forwarding text/sms messages to my email account

Hey All,

Just a quick question regarding my android phone, I work in a secure environment at work in which we are not allowed to bring in or use mobile phones which is fine, but I am waiting on important texts coming through regarding my house move. So I was wondering is there a way to have sms messages that arrive on my phone then sent to my own email account?

I used to use Tasker on Android which could automate a lot of tasks. I'm not sure how much it's been developed since I used it but might be worth a look.

You could set it to perform certain actions if certain criteria were met, it may have reached the point where you could set up a rule that basically said IF SMS recieved THEN forward as email to [email protected].
