Forza 2 problem...

Just got this game today and think its a pretty fun game - got my golf mark II upto an S class already! lol

Just one thing which is wrong with it, and its because theres no music!!!

There is in the menu, but when im driving - its just the engine i can hear :(

Is there anyway (apart from playing your own tracks) to get music on while driving? Theres some cool music in there from prodigy and nerd i wouldnt mind driving too!

Awww man, i think thats pretty terrible really - a game like that should at least have ingame music...dont ya think?

I remember playing Gran turismo 4 with feeder - doing a F1 style heating up tyres thing to the music, awesome!

NOW I CANT DO THIS!!!! :( lol
 
Personally i think the games a little dry without the music, need to make a special cd for the game methinks

Do you drive without music or the radio on? I betya dont :D

You can do exactly what your asking for.

Just load the music using the 360 menu, it loads if over any game music.

Do you honestly want the FM2 developers to stick their choice of music in the race? The stuff in their loading screens is mostly annoying - I'd rather stick my own playlist on during a race - and I can, I don't see the problem.

Nope :D I always turn off in-game music in racing games. Try to think of it like you're doing a track day, you wouldn't have music on there and if you did you wouldn't be able to hear it through your helmet anyway. Enjoy the superb engine sounds :)

why not nowt wrong with a few tunes on a trackday :) as for not hearing it through your helmet you need a louder install :)

i am fully aware of this option

what i am saying is they should have done it ala PGR3, the developers music is on, if you dont want to listen to that, put your own on or turn it off, but i want the option to listen to the game music, something which Forza doesnt do, and PGR3 does

I don't like any music when I'm racing, just find it a distraction personally :D
 
Thats what left me a bit amazed really, they shouldve had the option to have music on - i mean its not as though microsoft couldnt have paid someone an extra 5 minutes to put this feature on lol
 
I love my windows media centre extension :D

Stream AAAAAAAll 4000 tracks of my music to my xbox.

But no, forza 2 was designed to be a racing driving sim, and apart from the stig, nobody in the racing world listens to music whilst driving in a professional race.

Hence no music.
