I dont think a Don did, I think he just mentioned his lap times which could well be from the demo. I too would be annoyed about the information given about NTSC-J but I was a little sceptical so was waiting on Cheets copy before I ordered.

I've seen similar bull on how people got the games in the past so prefer to wait for people I know who aint full of it.

Put it down to experience.

I do wish we could name places purely for games and good deals to help people out but I understand the rules why we cannot.

Poor ~J~ - he didnt pirate it, if he did he would be playing it.

The game is not region free, the users currently playing have a "scene release" of it

by a group tagged GST on 25-05-07

I never said anything about the game been region free , I belive I have the cech game that was released around the 17-19th of May, the box is full english and I got it from meansizzler over at AV forums, trade post link

I will put up a photo later if I get the time if not it will be tomorrow.

At the end of the day any time I have went out and ordered a region free game I check more than just OCUK forums and it was quite clear from early on that it wasn't region free.

Yeah i think KNiVES may have picked up your post wrong.

I dunno of a man of honour actually counts as a mod though. (assuming you are talking about drexel)

I've had the PAL ltd edition for just under 2 weeks,came from someone on AV forums,reason for posting is that Taz1234 may have done the same although i can't confirm this,i think around 7-8 people got the ltd edition PAL forza2 this way.

Sorry Taz you posted while i was writing my post,my copy is made in Poland but in full English and identical to UK release.

I got my email through today from ******.net they are sending out their copies on wednesday, so should be with us thursday. Cant wait!

So chop posts that ask for pirate copies/links? And warn anyone who tries to subtly advocate piracy, or hint at download locations?

I still fail to see how there isn't a clear line between admitting to it, and actually helping someone else do it. It's no different to the competitor rule, where people are allowed to say "I bought this game in town for £x", but not actually specify where, or provide people with a link to it. When the mods actually try to keep on top of it here, that rule is enforced perfectly well, whether or not you particularly agree with it.

It just seems silly to me that people are allowed to admit to, say, speeding, or taking drugs on here, but not to pirating. If you admit to a crime on an internet forum, it's not exactly an air-tight signed confession.

So increase the moderation (which has been subject of much discussions on here of late) by ten fold, just because some hackers can't keep it in their pants and stop showing how 1337 they are by having the game early?

If people want to talk about piracy they can go to other well known forums. If people are so tight arsed and can't be bothered to show the developer any respect and pay for their games and hard work they can go to other well known forums. At one point here in these forums (before the big nuke i think) the piracy talk got to such a point that IIRC Spie stepped in and said enough was enough. The FAQ was amended to suit, and that's what needs to remembered and respected, that the forum owner does not want discussions about warez/chipped and modded (hence illegal) to be had here.

I have not said anything of the sort. I don't even have the full game yet.

I have been removing posts to this effect also.
