Forza 2 & xbox 360 help

Played Forza 2 in the xbox 360 for the first time the other day, I thought I love this game, I'll get it on monday, only to be told its exclusive to the xbox 360. So I'm now going to buy an xbox, the question is which one?

Core, Premium or Elite? I intend to use HDMI-to-DVI lead on my ASUS 22" & how do I get the sound to my speakers?

Can't answer the sounds question, but it you want HDMI, right now you will have to buy the Elite.

Some premiums with HDMI are appearing, but Elite would give you it for sure. Don't bother considering a core.

The elite comes with a connector for the sound it has two phono connectors

Cores are £150 so you may get away with it

One last thin before I press Buy Now, will I be able to play games from other regions on a PAL XBOX like I do with my NTSC PS3? & what is the warranty period for the xbox elite? I cant find details anywhere & I'v been told the xbox is not the best built console.

Only a few games are region free it is fair to say the vast majority of NTSC (360) games will not play in the PAL machine.

Warranty is 1 year as with all products, however Microsoft give you 3 years warranty if you get this 3 red lights error on your console. But the actual warranty is technically 1 year, the additional 2 years covers a specific fault (albeit the most likely fault to occur!!).

thanx for your help mate, my PS3 is now looking like a better purchase than the 360. But to be honest I know I'm gona end up buying one eventually, either today or at the end of the week, I dont think I can put it off much longer (*Must play Forza 2*)

forza 2 is awesome. it could do with a few more tracks mind as when you get later on in the game i felt like i was grinding away rather than enjoying it.

still great fun though
