I've fell out with this game, after playing through the crap Ive gone and spent all my cash modding a rubbish american car that is now undrivable.

I know the game will get better but im too frustrated to continue..

Could some of you uber drivers gift me a couple of cars so I can race some different events and maybe get some cash.

All charity is gratefully received :D

tag = dufflecoat

What american car is that and whats its power and weight now, just wondering :D

Try and sell it with a popular paint scheme maybe, coke brand or something?

I've modded every car I've gone on to use and it's a messy affair. Most of the time you have to be very slow in the corners to stop slipping and sliding, but then nail it on the straights and you win every time, too easy if you ask me.

Just take the corners gingerly.

lol maniac i was going to ask does anyone use the speed up and coast technique lol its like VROOOOOOOOOOOM *ROLL ROUND 2 CORNERS* VROOOooom ROLL ROLL ROLL

Exactly, that's pretty much it lol. :)

Aye just got level 30 and bought an F430 for the Ferrari challenge. Modded it highly and it just simply won't turn in anymore. Goes like absolute **** down the back straight though, good fun

People saw what a REAL modded American car looked like last night when I was rollin' in my '69 Camaro!

Pure noise, like the God of thunder gargling hammers.

Bad modding.. cool
Sounds like when I'd mess up the full range lsd settings on gt4, tuning a 300zx to take 700bhp was hard - is tuning a skill?

I think it is, you have to realise that the chassis may not be able to take all the power that modding adds so you have to be sensible in how much more the car can give...I remember an episode of Top gear in which they had a 280bhp Cooper S that was near undrivable.

I did the same with a ferrari, modded it slower than it was in the first place. I tend to add a few in stages and add 50% power 50% handling.

saying that. ive just whacked everything into a testarossa, its now undrivable and i havent the first clue of how to tune it properly :( *cries at the money he's wasted*

Start again.

That's what I did :p

Spent all my money giving an MX-5 pure power and nothing else. Completely un driveable now. Gutted I waisted 80k on it but got a nice TT now

PFFFT lightweight.

Slap a whacking great rear wing on it, up the downforce to max. Slap on sticky tyres. Creep round the bends and blast down the straights. Its the art of Forza my friend ;)

I focus on the handling/braking before adjsuting the engine... tends to work awesome for me, as reducing weight and making handling good makes it fly nicely. Then when you get to the bigger races just up the engine.

i did that the other against rp2000 and a few others lol, i didnt win, or make the finish line as it was just to powerfull for the hairpin bends, it was fun though.

:D Too true.

As much as I want to stick crazy turbo's and intercoolers in to all of my race cars just to see the power graphs rise like a cliff face. I have come to realise that stripping excess weight, good tyres and a whacking great rear wing are the priority.

Still, it's always nice to have at least one supersonic barge! :D

Well after taking my fly weight AE86 Sprinter Trueno to 350 BHP I had to give in and bung on the silly spolier :( I managed 2 of the three 350BHP races but Silverstone was just too much.

Still on the plus side it handles like a dream now and should take 400BHP easily :D
