Forza Horizon 3 - Which Version?

I've just noticed Horizon 3 is on offer. Between 40-50% off depending which version you buy.

I've been reading some user reviews and many are stating that the DLC doesn't work properly on the pc. These reviews are dated from 2016. Does anyone know if these bugs are fixed? Also is the standard game hampered in anyway by not buying the DLC? Like with the standard edition will I find myself wishing I had gone for the Ultimate edtion instead. Some of the cars on the Ultimate Edition do look quite interesting.

Also what's this game like online? Is there lots of people still playing it and is it cross platform anyone know?
 
Awesome. I have the demo and think the games great. Do you think £40 is good price for the game + 3 DLC packs? And do I just buy the game and then run the demo or should I uninstall then download the full version? Also can I pay using xbox vouchers? Been away from pc gaming for a long while....
 
I'd say so yes, it's a good price. If you liked hot wheels as a kid then you'll be in awe with it.

Buy the game and DLC. about xbox vouchers, not too sure.

Yes you can pay using Xbox Vouchers. Redeem them on the Windows Store via Redeem a Code - all goes to the one Microsoft account tied to your login :)
 
So I got this game and was wondering are the DLC packs I purchased already in the game? meaning I have paid real money for cars that I can buy in game with credits I earn in the races?
