Forza Horizon 4 Not Loading ?

Had FH4 on the PC now for months and it's always worked fine.

However today i've tried it and it gets to the loading screen with the white circle in the corner and it takes forever to load, then when it does load it lags like crazy ?

Is there a way to verify the game files? You can do it on Steam and Origin but it's a windows game right?
