Forza2 force feedback

Where's that guy who's obsessed with fps, he should all over this if it does 300fps.
Do you mean me? The game will do 60fps on the screen. I've rather lost interest in this game since seeing the screenshots and reading the short and lacklustre track list.

Yeah mate, likewise. I had to actually take the adapter out because it was too strong for my keyboard tray that I use the wheel on, and thought it was going to break it

Damn i felt it wasnt as strong as my old MS PC wheel im sure he had it plugged in thats why i was wondering is their a setup menu within PGR3 that increased decreased the strength of the FFB, maybe ive been expecting too much from the wheel though.

I think youd be better waiting for the next round of screenshots to be released, this games going to look a damn sight better than PGR3 and it still looks great.

As for the tracks more will be available as DLC.

I hope it looks less cartoonish and more realistic and lifelike in the end, but I'm not optimistic.

What is DLC? (oh download content is it?)

I thought that the developers had already released the final track list?

It doesnt look any more cartoonish than any other racer.

The reason your perhaps thinking this is that because a lot of the screenshots seen were taken via a digital camera from actual HDTVs that probably had their colour and contrast settings way too high, giving it that over saturated look.

Down Load Content = Yes

Compared to Gran Turismo it does. But I will have to reserve judgement until the final game comes out of course.

This is the racing seat my mate had the wheel attached to

Im still tempted to do something like this but have 3x Samsung 215TW monitors and run the game in 3 screen mode with the wheel.

You have three monitors? Are you sure that's enough mate? :p

No id have to buy a third TW 215, the monitors not so much the problem its the:

2x additional 360's
3x Forza 2 discs
1x wheel
1x Racing Frame

Having played the first Forza in 3 screen mode i know it adds a lot to the experience even better than a 80" projector single screen but combined with a proper seat and wheel damn this be as good as any arcade...

Costly though...

So you're gonna spend what, the thick end of a grand to play one game?

although forza 2 supports 3 monitors don't u need 3 xbox's also ?

anyway, in regards to the wireless wheel... i am now much faster in pgr3 using the wheel. on my fav track i am 3 secs slower with the joypad lol

still can't manage to qualify for a tourny though  just under a second of the required time and i am ranked 113

can't wait for forza 2, had i pre ordered for months and my cookie jar has enough money in there :D

Possibly yes but having such a setup wouldnt be limited to one game the wheel can be used on a PC (new adapter) and the monitors are easily returned to their usual places.

I can always try it first by combining a few mates machines/games together for a booze up fun night when its released, who knows maybe do a thread on it with some pics and opinions...

but if he is using m8s xbox's and already has monitors. Damn it would be nice to see that in full glory! Remember the pics! :D
