So Redbull and Ferrari have both announced they have left the Formula One Teams Association :- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/16009873.stm
I for one am not surprised as FOTA has struggled in the past 18 months to agree the next revision of the Resource Restrictions Agreement - with some teams being accused of "fiddling the books" to get around the RRA. I'm pretty sure at least two of the teams re-jigged their super computers to allow them to meet the RRA requirements technically whilst actually upping their processing capabilities - based on chats with friends in their IT departments.
What next for F1 / FOTA? Will Ferrari once more raise the spectre of a break-away formula?
Intriguing at the very least.
