Are almost in ;)

However here are a few bits from the results, which of course we already expected!

Formula 1 fans are keen to see the sport broadcast in High Definition as soon as possible, as well as see grand prix racing expand its presence on the Internet.

They are two of the key messages that have come out from the results of the recent fan survey conducted by the Formula One Teams' Association (FOTA) in association with F1 Racing and LG Electronics.

Wonder if once again the top 10 tracks will not inckude a single Tilke track and all be epic european venues? Shame Bernie seems to keep missing that point and building snooze fests in the desert for 5000 people to turn up to...

Fans also voiced strong opinions about the actual direction that the sport takes over the next year years, with them showing a strong desire for having technological innovations to look forward to, and that F1 should continue going to classic venues

No chance they will listen to teh results though.

techological innovations always get banned for the next year......

its like they want to keep f1 stale with all the engine locking , chasis locking , limited testing etc

yep makes me a sad bear,

still say they should open up kers and engine development and allow what ever they want, just limit fuel. Relevant tech, which companies want to research.
As well as provisions in teh rules for alternative fuels, but it would be years before any team would consider using it, but it means they could research it.

Nice to have a look through those results, and for the most part they matched my sentiments when I filled in the questionnaire. It was amusing to see that all those "decrepit" old skool European venues are still the fans favourites. Sorry Bernie. :p

Innovation is needed, and the constant stifling of new tech is an issue, like the F-Duct for starters. Trouble is I just don't like the idea of KERS, which I feel is terribly artificial or the prospect of someone turning up to race with a filthy oil burner engine. :( There's also those horrible flip ups, flips downs and all the nasty other aero guff which spoils the cars appearance. But then I'd love to see V10's and V12's return, with turbos!

So I want change, but don't... :o Maybe next time I should fill in my answers as Neither Agree, nor disagree or Don't Know. :D

Basically Bernie's saying, unless HD will bring in loads of new viewers or prevent existing ones leaving, he doesn't care. In other words, no matter how many current fans want it, if we're not about to stop watching unless we get it, he doesn't give a toss.
