found my next bike

After market items need to catch up on all these tail tidies they need for the new bikes as most of them have hideous pieces of plastic stuck on the back. It's almost like they forgot about a rear guard & rear lights when designing it so just chucked a lump of plastic on the back to do the job. :(

Yeah.

Check out rizoma though they do some sexy things. Even generic stuff like metal fluid reservoirs for brake/clutch fluid. Have a look for your bobber :p

Dude I'm lost in a World of Boys Toys, Do I get the Skeleton levers, trick air filter cover & God knows how many other bits I've seen available :p

I'm trying real hard to be strict with myself as I'm giving my Daughter away 26th Sep so I have an account I'm trying to fill to cover that, This hasn't stopped me having a Bike account as well though I just need to hold off till after the 26th then I'll put whatever is left with my Bike money & go mentals.
List so far would be
Engine
Oil & Filter change with decent oil
Plugs changed
Valve clearances
Carb rebuild kit & a Dyno jet & needle kit

Stuff
Helmet & Goggles.
Single seat.
White walls
Trick Air filter housing
Beach bars & the bits & bobs I'd need to go cable less (Cables inside the bars)
Probably a few other bits I don't even know I want yet. :p

This is easily my most satisfying Hobby by a country mile & prob the only way I'll ever keep a bike for a long time. I do feel I've really made it mine & it can only get better the more & more I work on it. I can see myself getting a few more VN800's though as I'm already keeping my eye out for cheap ones. I know I can do the next one untold quicker just by doing it in the right order & I know it'll turn out better than my Original, Loads better in fact.

I saw one at a bike meet last Thursday. It looks ok but I think it's trying too hard and that takes away from the look of it
