First external video card unveiled
Here’s something for the laptop gamers out there - ASUS has unveiled the first ever external video card for laptops, called the XG Station. It comes with a ASUS EN7900GS graphics card and is equipped with Express Card interface, USB 2.0 and Dolby headphones.
Clock speeds are adjustable from the big knob on the docking station and the big LED screen shows the GPU clock speed, GPU temperature, GPU fan speed, how many frames per second you’re getting, the master volume and Dolby Headphone feature status.
ASUS currently plans to release the XG Station at the beginning of Q2 2007. Full press release after the break.

finally a proper gfx solution for laptop gamers?
it seems to require an external monitor though kinda kills off the portability aspect
