Founders edition 1080

Basically i'm almost there for getting my first gaming pc, anyhow with the GPU i keep seeing the founders edition version of the 1080, now would the founders edition be better than a vendor's version of card? i'm really confused if I should just spend that bit extra to get basically the card to how Nvidia designed it to look.

There is so much information out there in regards to GPU's it's kind of hard to get what the hell is going on, will admit me understanding GPU's is my weakest area, so I basically should save some money then and go for a custom card?
