Four core CPU's

I think you have misunderstood…The article is about the release of quad-core CPUs (As in on a single die!)
 
Well, that wasn't a surprise, but i did think that AMD would be offerring Quad cores on their AM2 chip sometime this year, rather than next year, oh well...
 
I'll wait and see it on Intel tbh, they always release outrageous claims early on in development, then hope we'll forget by the time they release the chips. Netbursts up to 10GHz anyone?
