Fox Repeller

I have chickens and foxes keep sniffing around there coup, whic has a high fence around it but has an open top, so foxes could climb over if they were that way inclined (its too big for a roof).

So does anyone have any sugestions for keeping fox away? A quick google shows i can buy a sonic repella, but they have mixed reviews, also i dont it to upset my cat.

what type of fence is it?

they won't be able to climb up chicken wire

my mum keeps chickens, but the foxes are way too scared of our sheepdog (who also loves to kill chickens)

Its a chicken wire fence but there is also some regular wooden fence, I wasnt sure if it would climb chicken wire or not, so thats reasuring.

Pehaps i should get a dog.

A water scarecrow seems to be the only legal (or humane) way to stand a chance against them. Lion dung, urine etc never work long term.
