foxconn blackops x48 any knowledge

been reading loads about this board as i own one and been quite confused bout this one
775 socket
using the qx6700
memory ocz ocz3x1600lv2g
got the memory from overclockers definitely compatible to an extent

i cant get the memory setting to a tea but i tried the recommended settings none of which worked or for example to use 888 i had to ramp the voltage to 1.9 from 1.6
777 was a waste of time ocz recommened

in prime95 torture test memory failed on all on 777 on 888 two of the cores failed
and on 666 only one failed first then a min late the other one followed

im lost what to do cranked the nb CPU volts

i no overclockers when they sold this board years ago recommend patriot ddr3 anyone use to have this setup or no which type it was

got it clocked to 3.4ghz on 888 but memory issues not worth it
kept it on 666 2.6ghz

so my question is i cant get it to 1600mhz memory and it is now at 1066mhz
best i got prime95 failed straight away was somewhere in the region of 1500mhz
using 1.4 on memory multiplier

That board was extremely picky with memory which may be your problem. Foxxconn boards tend to be hit or miss with memory compatibility.

anychance u no what i could get i got the
extreme forum telling me a load compatiable sticks but i cnt get any of them as there old stuff now

looking at these on ebay but not sure
as they say the 1gb sticks work on the forum but nothing on the 2gb sticks

i only had real success with cellshock/teemxtream and corsair. all of which were catastrophically expensive at the time. :rolleyes:

lol i cracked 1333mhz on 333fsbx10 3333ghzcpu with ram timings of 9-8-8-22
prime95 100%test
omg what a blag thought i could only get good settings with 666 e.t.c which actually worked 100% but couldnt get past 1100mhz safe

might have to try bigger numbers thou to get 1600mhz thats for 2moz night

i was that close to getting a i7 and resell this one i just bought
but i like the challange was reading somewere just incase anyones got one of these lieing around need to do something about
using speed tool to get it too flash and it'll boot 1333mhz on auto settings then u can achieve more what a more blag

anyone done this before he's got the settings to download but i dont think ill be using them

so anyone with information on how to flash ddr3
and what to do
