Is the bottom board using a TEC on the chipset?
It is indeed.
The top board has that cool combo cooler that was designed by a guy on XS. Not sure how good an air cooler it is, but atleast they were trying something different.
The Foxconn BIOS is out of this world. The CPU voltage on the Foxconn BlackOps motherboard can go all the way up to 2.4400V! That is more than enough for 99.9% of enthusiasts out there and it just goes to show how extreme Foxconn is getting about overclocking. The northbridge voltage for the Intel X48 Express chipset goes up to 2.395V, which again is just nuts.
You would think that with all the new multiple Graphics card technology they would create a new motherboard standard, Where the motherboard is 2 inchs longer or something, To let us use at least one PCI slot huh?
I thought E-ATX was just wider?
the bottom board will not be popular as the Bloomfield platform (socket 1366) will be out within this year .
