Do you know if it's UEFI or whether they went the Gigabyte route & pleaded poverty to Intel so that they could stick to the flawed legacy BIOS?
you know what I mean, they are introducing UEFI because legacy reached the end of its viable lifespan some time ago but only now have we started to come up against more visable problems (i.e. 3GB boot drives)I wouldn't say Legacy is flawed mate, however if it doesn't have UEFI it will be at a disadvantage and have one less feature bullet point against its name.
do we know if it's 8x/8x SLI certified? I know that some of the Asus & Gigabyte boards can't get SLI certification because the second PCI-Express port is only 4x
