I know this is not the CPU forum but I would like to ask this question here as it's games relateded.

So is there a huge difference between a 1155 3770k V 1150 4770k ??

It's been happening a lot lately, I did it to one of the dons in GD, thought I was going to be banned for time travel :p
 
Faced the same dilemma and did this very same thing this week 3570K to 3770K rather than haswell to avoid the extra expense not to mention a re-install that a new motherboard would have brought!

Quite funny when it happens. IIRC they've had to spread the forum load over more servers and it sometimes causes a bit of variance on it all resyncing.
