FPS games to get?

Been thinking about getting a few more games to play... gonna get World at War i think, maybe Far Cry 2. Also looking at Battlefield 2. Any games that are definitely worth getting? Fallout 3 is meant to be fairly good too?

Depends what you're into. Lots of people are enjoying Fallout 3 at the moment, but it's not my bag. Can't go wrong with HL2 and episodes if you haven't go them already. Dare I suggest Crysis? One I really enjoyed too was Call of Juarez.
 
Far Cry 2 didnt caputre me at all.

I tend to decide wether ill like a game or not within the first 30 mins of play and it really seems quite dry.

Brothers in Arms: HH on the other hand, has got me on tender hooks!

Although L4D will take up all my time once its out!
 
Get hl2 and the episodes 1+2. I think they might come with the orange box, which comes with the most played game ever for me: TF2.

Many many hours of fun, and never gets boring. Plus each type of character gets an update every so often so you can do tasks to get new weapons. Every time the release comes out for a character it changes the whole style of play until people adapt.

Also, Bioshock, stalker original with add ons, stalker clear sky, crysis, crysis warhead.

this is why i love it

there's no single class i always pick, quite often i'll change class just for one small section of a map (ie when pushing the cart, sometimes long range fire/spy is the only way to remove sg's)
 
Was thinking of TF2, but seems a bit gimmicky?

Might get Orange Box, Crysis, Battlefield 2, COD:WaW, and saw the Bioshock Collections Edition for £15, worth it?
