I am using the developer mode on Msfs and wondering what other people think about the developer mode readings, I am using high end rending quality setting and frame rate limited to 70fps getting about 50 to 40 fps.

It’s telling you you are cpu bound … the game is waiting for the cpu to complete its work each frame. (Mainthread is the central process the cpu is running. )

Your performance is ok I would say for your spec. Msfs is very hard on the cpu regardless.

why are you at 50% fram rate limit?

your CPU limited, the 1600 and 2600 CPU's was ok but didn't really have the individual core power.
the good thing is with a BIOS update your motherboard will take upto 5XXX chips
