FPS suggestions

Looking for some fairly mindless multiplayer shooter entertainment whilst waiting for Cyberpunk. What's the best bet at the moment? I had thought about Warzone but the reviews look a bit mixed...
 
Modern Warfare multiplayer has shoot the ship/shipment playlists which are pretty good for some mindless running around and shooting.

You need to say that then.

You can try COD, Warzone is free to play but realistically you do maybe a little bit of shooting throughout a 20+ minute game. Most of the time is spent running around. PUBG and Fortnite are very similar. You could try Apex Legends or Overwatch? I think you'd enjoy Overwatch as the games are fast paced and lots of different 'style' characters to play.

Warzone is recent, and it can be great when it works. I think the multiplayer is still free?

But start downloading early! My install (including single player) is up to over 230Gigs!!
 
Mindless - Overwatch, COD:Cold War (Out 13th Nov, and if you are interested in Warzone it crosses over with it), TF2.
Battle Royale - Warzone, Apex Legends. Less shooting, more looting than the MP suggestions above!

Funny you mention Overwatch, I used to play that a fair bit. I hear its popularity is waning now? Apex looks ok. I should add mindless is relative to MMO's. I used to play EvE and everything seems simple after that :)

Warzone, 230GB?! That would take a while on 20MBps internet :p They're prepping for FTTP around here, can't come fast enough!

Overwatch is still hugely popular. You would never struggle to find a game! If you already own it then just give it a download and check it out.
 
Starwars BF 2, you can basically get yourself levelled up superfast doing coop and then go in for the supremancy 40 man games once you have some better gear. I got the heavy chracater to lv80 in one sitting of double XP a few months ago as I never played that type before but wanted the T40 for nostalgia as I used to be a weaponsmith in SWG
 
Insurgency sandstorm is great, has standard player vs player but also player vs ai, which I have played a lot and enjoyed. Not really into pvp, dont need people who are better shouting at me :)

Ah, SWG, used to love that game in the early days. Lots of good suggestions, now what to try...
 
The best shooter on pc imo is squad.... i wouldnt call it mindless though but it is great fun, you do need a mic really though as its team based, AMAZING fps
