FPS VS TPS

I dont agree that console is more TPS orientated.

Boils down to personal preference and game type I guess.

I feel FPS is far greater for immersion, better and more satisfying gunplay in general and harder (if the game doesent have ez mode aids) as you don't have the ability to look over and around obstacles with the camera.

Third person comes into its own in many ways though, some examples are tomb raider series, uncharted series, and assassins creed series. The game mechanics work for 3rd person and these games would be poorer as 1st person imo.

I dont think its a question of which is better. Both can be a great experience, but personal preference is a big factor.
