I was out at the weekend and managed to slip and tear tendon in my arm. I now have to have an operation to re-attach the tendon, so left arm is out of action fow 6 weeks minimum.

Is there any type of controller that would allow me to keep playing games like BF2, using only one hand?

me a gm@n played a 2v2 on CoD2, we played one handed while the other team played normal styley. just bind mouse 2 to walk forward its all you need :P

Personally I wouldn't bother as you'll probably get mighty frustrated not being as good as you normally are.

Maybe look at some different genres such as RPG, strategy etc.

I'm using a G7 (I believe the G5 is the same, but wired) which allows the mouse wheel to be moved left and right.
Set those up for sidesteps left and right and put run on the right mouse button and you should be able to play. It just depends on how well you can adapt to the new button config.

Another alternative would be the PS1 glove, if you could find one, and a PlayStation USB adapter.

or buy afew RTS games and play those for 6 weeks ;)

Your lack of uber-micro is... disturbing. :p

Keyboard/mouse combos give you a massive edge in RTS.

Try DDR. No hands!

LoL, they made a glove for the PS1, didn't know that, wonder if it was better then the NES powerglove?
