This is my second Xbox having had one around a year ago and I am still unable to get used to the aiming using the stick when playing FPS games. Just can't get used to it one bit. Have played FPS's for the past 6/7 years using a mouse and keyboard. Was playing Halo 3 yesterday for the first time and while it seems a fantastic game, I just couldn't get into it after getting frustrating with the aiming.

Secondly, i'd like to be able to add some MP3's to my Xbox HDD to play through the dashboard when I am playing games. Is this possible without ripping the CD onto the Xbox HDD? Can I possible just transfer MP3's over the network?

I feel your pain on th FPS issue, its the same for me :(

You should be able to stream music over the network via WMP11, or, if you can get ahold of it, the now hard to find "Windows Media Connect" which is THE perfect tool :)

I have finally just learnt (or rather, been bother to look into) how to stream music over the network. What makes WMC better then WM11?

Thanks

tbh just the fact that it runs happily in the background, i just prefer it, choose folders to share and thats that, besides which i was using it before I heard about WMP11, and just have stuck with it, <3 it.

But as long as WMP does its job, thats all good too :)

I couldn't stand other FPS on the 360, BUT Halo3 for some reason is a LOT easier than other games, I think the reason is that it locks on for a split second, so if you fire, it follows the enemy for a reasonable time.
