I can get a mint example for £700 and it's in warranty until April.

Is it worth it? I'm literally torn!

With OLED and the move to 27" screens on the horizon I'd hold off.

But from what I've seen of these things you'd not be dissapointed they're damn good screens.

What move to 27"? I thought only Dell and NEC had plans to release 27" monitors, and both will still be selling 30"s as the top model still.

OLED is still a fair while off affordable in 30" guise too. I'de go for it. You'll get many years good use unless you're someone who thinks what they have is suddenly crap when a new model is released!

The move to 27" as in more manufacturers selling it = cheaper prices = more mainstream users buying it

not to mention apple making it "in style" same sorta thing that happened with 24"

30" will still be top dog

OLED is getting pushed back due to high costs and advances in LED back-lighting technology and 3D on the horizon. See Sony backs away from OLED TV future.
