Thinking of buying another 140mm fan for the top of the Fractal 3000.

Just wondering what people think.

Should i have it as another outake fan, or use it as a intake fan?

I've got the two fans at the front of the case as intakes (140mm & 120m)

One outake at the top (140mm)

I've also thought about adding the fan on the side of the case aas an intake, not sure what would be mre effective.

I believe that having more fans pushing air into the case gives you positive pressure which should mean less dust sitting in your system.

Try it as both a top exhaust and as a side intake and see what your temps are. It may benefit more as a side intake cooling your graphics card :)

I thought about that with the graphics card. I've gone ahead and bought two 140mm, both fractal fans.

Will definately have the side one as an intake for the GFX, and possibly have the top as an intake too.

My temps at the moment with the two new fans are

Gfx - 45C when i have monitor and TV Connected
HDD's 25-30C
CPU Cores around 25-30C

I don't think it's worth having one top intake and a exhaust as they will just be sucking each others air out. You'd be better off having two exhausts in the top, two intakes in the front and one in the side.
