So i'm building a new HTPC based around this, and then realised I have a perfectly serviceable Seasonic S12-600W PSU sitting around doing nothing. It's not modular, and must be 6 years old but works like a champ.

I mostly keep it around as an emergency spare / testing PSU but was thinking to save a bit of cash on my new build.

Is there enough space in this case to tuck away spare cables? I'm not putting an optical drive in it as I have a USB dvd drive for the one time a year I need to use optical disks.

One of my biggest gripes about this case is the space behind the motherboard tray and the right side panel is prett tight. Remember there is the sound damping to consider.

There is plenty of space to tuck the cables, but to route them neatly behind the motherboard you've really got to take care not to overlap anything. The 24 pin atx cable barely fits (already got a nice dent in the sound damping from the pressure.

You're not going to get all the spare cables behind the motherboard unless you're extremely neat and aggressive with them. But there is space behind the hard drive bays and up to the 5.25" bays.

Cheers, just what I wanted to know. I'll grab a modular to go in it in that case. Always handy to keep the Seasonic as an emergency spare.
