Fractal-Design Node 304 copies Sugo 01?

Saw this mentioned in Computex coverage, and I took notice as it is mini-ITX. But looking at dimensions it more akin to Silverstone's micro-ATX early Sugo models.

probably because it's designed so you can actually use a full size cpu cooler rather than the limited options you have in the sugo...

They've had to place the psu somewhere else, in this case in front of the motherboard, instead of over the cpu like in the sg01

I want one too but would love to see an alternative version which supports matx, wouldn't even mind the slight increase in size.

Bane, that 'small' difference in dimensions actually is quite a bit in terms of volume.

Very true.

I'd like a Matx version too.

I'd also like an mAtx version of the prodigy. Wheres the Bit Fenix Rep? :)
 
Looks more like an SG08 but taller to me. Fractal design are getting pretty close to building a damn good mITX case. Still not entirely sure why you would pick this over the smaller Array Mini R2 if you wanted 6 HDDs or the smaller SG08 if you wanted a long GPU.
 
I've done hours of research and comparisons and this case has come out on top for me vs all other offerings. I can't wait to get it, so I emailed Fractal Design yesterday for an ETA on the Node 304 and they replied today with;

ETA on the shelves is set to second half of September.
