Built a PC about a month ago. The Fractal Design R3 case comes with a fan controller for 3 fans. Managed to install everything perfectly.
Then my power supply died.
Received a replacement today, same model (Corsair CX500), and after fitting it, I have NO IDEA how to fit the fan controller.
I assume (this is the first build I've done, and I honestly can't remember how I did it) that there is cable from the power supply with a tiny plug that fits into the controller. Nowhere to be seen. I ripped the power supply out and went through it with a fine toothcomb just to be sure. Nowt.
Could it be that the replacement has it left off?! Or am I just being dumb and the power comes from somewhere else.
It's no big deal other than my OCD is bouncing off the walls now.
I'd like to get it installed again but how? Please advise.
