Fractal design R3 Modding...

So, I am thinking of modding my R3 with a side window to show the parts. Thing is, I have no idea where to start, and how to keep the noise down, the reason I bought the R3 is because of the amazing noise dampening, but would like a window now.

So...how can I put a window in?

Would it affect noise?

Use double glazing for the window!

I'm sure people could offer a far better explanation but basically, remove all (or a section) of the side panel noise-dampening foam, use a dremel to cut the window, and use no more nails tape to attatch the acrylic window.

Ill be window modding one of the spare panels I have

Ill be using a dremel to cut out the space going a cm further in on the sound damping material for my acrylic to sit comfortably in and probably use some sort of double sided adhesive (but the good stuff).

It will effect noise as the side panel will no longer be solid like its intended to be Ill also be LED modding my power button going for a purple as mine will be purple themed

when I eventually get around to doing it XD
